Shockwave Media & Graphics LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as BotPrints ("we," "us," or "our"), is the controller of the personal data described here. This policy explains what we collect through the BotPrints mobile app and botprints.com (the "Service"), why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Your name, email address, and password (stored only as a salted hash). If you sign in with a third-party provider, we receive the information described in Section 2 instead of a password.
Shipping recipient name, postal address, phone number, the design you ordered, product options, order history, and tax jurisdiction derived from your shipping address.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and processes your card or wallet details directly. We never receive or store your full payment card number. We retain only a payment reference, the last four digits, card brand, and payment status so we can reconcile and support your order.
The card designs you create, and any images, logos, or print-ready files you upload. If you grant permission, the App accesses your camera and photo library solely to let you pick or capture images for a design. We do not scan your photo library, and we access only the specific items you select. You can revoke this permission in your device settings at any time.
If you use the AI designer, we process the business description, contact details, and style instructions you type, along with the resulting design, in order to generate and refine your card.
Device type, operating system version, app version, IP address, approximate region derived from IP, crash diagnostics, and how you use features. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
You can create or access your account using Sign in with Apple, Google, or Facebook. We request only what we need to create and secure your account:
Sign in with Apple and Hide My Email. If you choose to hide your email, Apple gives us a private relay address instead of your real one. We treat that relay address as your account email and send order and support mail through it. We never receive your underlying address.
We do not post to your social accounts, and we do not request your contacts, friend list, or timeline. Your use of a sign-in provider is also governed by that provider's own privacy policy. If you disconnect BotPrints at the provider, you may lose the ability to sign in; set a password or contact support first so you do not lose access to your order history.
Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (operating your account and fulfilling orders), legitimate interests (securing the Service, preventing fraud, improving the product), consent (marketing email, camera and photo access), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract:
We may also disclose information if required by law or valid legal process, to enforce our Terms, to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate the site, remember your session, and understand aggregate usage. The mobile app does not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising SDKs. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, though parts of the site may not work.
We keep account and design data for as long as your account is active. Order and transaction records are retained for as long as required by tax and accounting law, typically seven years, even after account deletion. Diagnostic logs are kept for a short period and then deleted or aggregated.
You can request deletion of your BotPrints account and associated personal data at any time, including data collected through Apple, Google, or Facebook sign-in. There are two ways:
We will delete your personal information from our active systems within 30 days of a verified request, and from routine backups within 90 days. We must retain order and payment records where tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention law requires it, and we may retain anonymized data that can no longer identify you. Orders already in production cannot be recalled.
This section is also our data deletion instructions page for third-party sign-in providers.
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, the right to request deletion or correction, and the right to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@botprints.com. We will verify your request against the email on your account before acting on it.
We operate in the United States, and our service providers may process data there and elsewhere. Where we transfer personal data out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls with role-based permissions, private object storage reached only through short-lived signed links, and rate limiting on sensitive endpoints. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact support@botprints.com and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. We will revise the "Last Updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the App or by email before the change takes effect.
