These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Shockwave Media & Graphics LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as BotPrints ("BotPrints," "we," "us," or "our"). They govern your use of the BotPrints mobile application (the "App"), the botprints.com website, and the design and printing services we provide (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, downloading the App, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. You must be 18 or older to place a paid order or provide payment information.
BotPrints lets you design business cards on a mobile device, using a template, a blank canvas, an AI-assisted designer, or your own print-ready file, and then order them printed and shipped. Printing and shipping are performed by third-party print vendors. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@botprints.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
Third-party sign-in. You may create or access your account using Sign in with Apple, Google, or Facebook. When you do, that provider authenticates you and shares a limited set of profile information with us, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of those services is also governed by the provider's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the availability or the acts and omissions of any third-party sign-in provider. If you revoke our access at the provider, you may lose the ability to sign in and should set a password or contact support first.
You keep ownership of the designs, images, logos, and text you upload or create ("User Content"). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for prepress, transmit to our print vendors, and print your User Content solely to operate the Service and fulfill your orders. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must retain to complete an order already in production or to meet legal obligations.
You represent that you own or have permission to use everything you upload, including logos, fonts, photographs, and trademarks, and that your User Content does not infringe anyone's rights.
Prohibited content. Do not upload or order anything that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, deceptive (including counterfeit identification, currency, or credentials), or that contains malicious code. We may refuse or cancel any order, and remove any content, that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.
The App offers an AI designer that turns a text description into a card layout, including generated background imagery. To provide it, we send your description and related design inputs to third-party AI providers; see the Privacy Policy for details. AI output is generated automatically, may be imperfect, and may resemble output produced for other users. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-assisted design and confirming you have the rights to use it before ordering. We make no representation that AI-generated output is original, accurate, or free of third-party rights.
Before checkout you can preview your design, including a 3D proof. You are responsible for proofreading. Approving an order confirms the spelling, layout, contact details, and artwork placement are correct.
Screens display color differently from ink on paper. Printed color, trim position, and cut may vary slightly from the on-screen preview; small variances within commercial printing tolerances are not defects. Artwork placed outside the safe area may be trimmed. Low-resolution images you supply may print poorly.
All orders are subject to acceptance. Prices, product options, and availability may change at any time, and pricing errors may be corrected before an order is produced. Applicable sales tax and shipping are calculated at checkout and shown before you pay.
Payment is due at the time of order. Payments are processed by Stripe and may be made using supported methods, including Apple Pay and Google Pay. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. Digital purchases, if any, made through an app store are processed by that store under its own terms.
Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier takes possession. You are responsible for providing a complete, accurate shipping address; we are not responsible for orders delayed or lost due to an incorrect address.
Business cards are custom-manufactured to your design, so an order can generally only be cancelled before it enters production. Contact support@botprints.com immediately if you need to cancel.
Because the products are personalized, we cannot accept returns for customer error, including typographical mistakes, low-resolution uploads, or design choices. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the approved proof, contact support@botprints.com within 14 days of delivery with photographs and we will reprint or refund it. Nothing here limits rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
Do not misuse the Service. In particular, do not attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, probe or breach security, scrape or bulk-download the Service, interfere with its operation, reverse engineer the App except where that restriction is prohibited by law, or use automated means to place orders or consume AI generations abusively. We apply rate limits and may suspend accounts that exceed them.
The Service itself, including the App, the website, our templates, our software, the BotPrints name, and our logos, is owned by Shockwave Media & Graphics LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. Templates are licensed to you for use in your own cards; you may not redistribute or resell them as templates or stock artwork.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from the App or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Orders already paid for and in production will be completed or refunded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shockwave Media & Graphics LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the order giving rise to the claim or US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shockwave Media & Graphics LLC and its members, officers, and employees from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.
Please read this section carefully; it affects how disputes are resolved. Except for claims that qualify for small-claims court and claims seeking injunctive relief for intellectual property misuse, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in Florida or, at your election, remotely.
Class waiver. Disputes will be arbitrated only on an individual basis. You and we waive any right to bring or participate in a class, collective, or representative action.
30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing legal@botprints.com with your name and account email within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Subject to Section 16, the state and federal courts located in Florida have exclusive jurisdiction.
You represent that you are not located in, and are not a national or resident of, any country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
These terms apply if you obtained the App from the Apple App Store. You acknowledge that:
If you obtained the App from Google Play, these Terms are between you and Shockwave Media & Graphics LLC only, not with Google. Google is not responsible for the App or its content and provides no warranty or support for it. Your use of Google Play is governed by the Google Play Terms of Service.
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
